In this dynamic tape you will be Introduced to the Korean art of self-defense known as Hapkldo. Unlike many martial arts styles, which have become sports games, Hapkido has kept Its tradition as MU-DO (the combat art) and Is still practiced today in its original form.
You will be introduced to the techniques of this ancient art by 8th degree black belt Master Tae Jung. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Master Jung was fortunate to learn Hapkido under the Supreme Grand Master Hwang In-shik, who also trained film legend Jackle Chan and choreographed many of his Hong Kong movies. Master Jung also trained In Kendo, Taekwondo and Praying Mantis Kung Fu during his youth and he Is currently the President of the World Hapkido Association.
These Instructional videotapes are designed to teach you the fundamental techniques of Hapkido. There are six chapters in a series of three videotapes which Include "Beginner", "Intermediate" and "Advanced" techniques.
